Anyways, I'm going on vacation until Saturday. So watch this beer video in the meantime.

Authority Zero
Good Luck in Japan and the overseas leg of the Warped Tour.
FYI, Authority Zero is a famous band from Mesa, AZ.
Chances are if you don't think you know them, you've probably have heard of them.
(PS Thanks for the Autograph, Jason!)
(PPS I also have an autograph from Authority Zero's old bass player, Jeremy. I can't seem to find it.)
(PPPS There are a few bands from the Phoenix area who have made it big, that you might not know, but do.
Jimmy Eat World
Phunk Junkiez
Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers (f.k.a. The Refreshments)
(There's probably more; I once knew a dude who knew Gilby Clarke)
(PPPPS I once heard that Infectious Grooves played at a high school talent show around here back in the early 90's. Not sure if that's true or not, but there's nothing wrong with believing!)

Abner, Sherlock and Half Life 2
I hope you all notice that Little Abner has inflated over 50 percent in the past 8 years. I hope you're all f'ing happy; this is your fault. Oil Futures, ethanol, corn prices, and global warming have nothing to do with this, just you!
Not to mention Mother and Father prices have increased about $1.50 to $2.00.
You're apathy will kill us all.
So anyway, I've been playing a lot of Half Life 2 and Team Fortress 2.
(By the way, TF2 is everything I dreamt it would be)
If you preorder Half Life 2: Episode 2 off of Steam (a program similar to iTunes, but for PC games), you'll get access to the beta test of TF 2 until the game officially releases Oct. 10. You also get the original Half Life 2 (if you don't already have it), Peggle Xtreme (a hilarious game like Plinko), Half Life 2: Episode 1, Half Life 2: Episode 2 and Portal (which looks to be an incredibly cool first-person puzzler). You can download Steam here.
I don't mean to gush over it, but it's a pretty awesome deal for $45.
I also just bought The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes Volume 1 at B&N for $8. I love it when awesome books are on discount. The book has a nice foreword about Conan Doyle and The Sherlock Holmes novels. It's super interesting.
I'm kind of wrapped up in these things right now, but once I get off my duff on Saturday, all of your dreams will come true.
I've got a whole bunch of sketches I'm going to scan and publish, and some fresh ideas for photoshops.
Not to mention, G.O.S.H. Detective Agency LLC will be in Alabama for Episode 4.
Remember to check out my MySpace page, it features funny music. Feel free to add me as a friend.
(PS I get sidetracked easily.)

Colorado Farts
Hello fans of Generic Dave's Curry Consortium! Although I could barely sleep last night because of how excited I was to have been invited to be a blog contributor to GDCC, I had no idea what to write about! I knew it couldn't just be any trivial subject because after all I was going to be writing along side one of the greatest bloggers our generation has seen...Dave Wylie! Fortunately upon opening my eyes this morning it hit me. I would tell the world about a deadly gas that I hope Osama Bin Laden never gets a hold of...Colorado Farts. It all starts on a beautiful Colorado Saturday afternoon when the Jeff, Katie, Terence, Sarah and myself open up cans of Coors Light. Regularly this is harmless. However, we would later find out that the combination of Colorado breakfast eggs and Colorado Coors Light creates DEADLY Colorado Farts. At one point our hotel room smelled so bad that it affected baby Connor's sense of direction and he started crawling backwards. One member of this entourage that was most affected by this deleterious mixture confessed that "I could be shitting my pants right now and not even know it!" So readers beware. When in Colorado never NEVER mix eggs with Coors Light.

Doing Laundry at Jeff's
My washer and dryer are out of commission for a couple of weeks, so tonight I'm getting some essential laundry done. I miss my super upgraded computer, and I miss HL2 and Quake 4.
:(
No photoshop either!
Hmmmmm....what's this? MS Paint?!?
Cya!
(Ps. A baby (who shall remain nameless) really sucks at crawling.
Instead of going forward, he can only move backwards. According to The Official Rules of Crawling, 1971, "Crawling only counts if the baby moves forward."
There also was an amendment to this rule in 1984 that stated, "Only a baby moving forward shall be video taped."
Please don't tell the baby I told you this. It's not my intention to hurt his self esteem, but I still think you all should know the truth.
As we speak, he's unaware of these comments and is listening to "Pop Goes the Weasel" in a bouncy, chair-table-thing.)

Sounds Like A Great Movie
Oh, wow.
A movie where Billy Bob Thornton plays an asshole in a comedy. I can't wait to see it. I sure hope it is number one at the box office.
I'd probably love a movie with BBT and Stiffler I if it was 1999.
Yeah, I'd probably watch this movie and The Matrix over and over again.
Anyway, I think the only movies that should be released this fall and winter are: 1) Movies where Billy Bob Thornton plays an asshole in a comedy. 2) Remakes of 80's cartoons. 3) Remakes of 80's TV shows.

Weird Dream (Again)
I had this dream I worked at another big company. At the company, I was responsible for filing paperwork for others to read. One of my coworkers started complaining that I was taking too long to file.
Turns out I wasn't the breakdown in the paperwork chain, it was this guy...
Turns out when middle management asked FCB (Frankenstein's Cowboy) where the breakdown was, he blamed me! Not only is he a douche, he has horrible fashion sense. Please don't tell him about what I said. I normally don't gossip, but I'm just a little bit upset.
Not only does he have the brute strength of the original monster, but he also wears a cowboy hat. You don't want to mess with that!

Changes to the Blog
Hello, Generic Dave (The USA, Arizona Version) here. I've got a few updates I want to tell everyone about.
New Hours of Operation
I'm not going to be able to post new content Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., so you all can check the site for updates either at nighttime, or the next day.
The reason for this is because I started a new super tubluar, top secret corporate job. They're pretty strict about wasting company time and money.
If you would like to keep abreast of all GDCC news, you can add me as a friend at www.myspace.com/strawberrysunshineusmc.
I send out a weekly newsletter.
Name Change
I've changed the name of the blog from "Generic Dave's Blogtacular" to "Generic Dave's Curry Consortium." It's not really that blogtacular anyways. I like curry a lot more than the combined words of blog and spectacular.
The name is also a reference to a Kinks song.
New Contributors
A couple of friends will now be contributors to the site! They will be bringing some pretty random stuff, which will include a horticultural column and possibly some gnarly emo poetry. I'm still looking for a few more to add content while I'm at work.
If you would like to contribute, you can contact me at the MySpace above or you can dwylie86@yahoo.com.
G.O.S.H. Episodes
I'm planning on releasing G.O.S.H. episodes every Saturday. They will be presented in a serial format with lots of cliff hangers. Once a story arc is done, I will post complete episodes. The reason for this is it takes me about 8 hours to compile about 2 minutes of footage.
Is Rich Baldwin Related to the Famous Baldwins?
Good question.
No, he's not related to the Baldwins. My theory is that he is a super classified, human genome project. I believe government scientists combined all of the Baldwins' DNA together in order to create a super being with a golden voice.
Some say (actually just me) that Richard Baldwin's voice can cure cancer!
Keep checking out the site and tell your mom! I mean your friends! Tell your friends!

G.O.S.H. Patch
Stacie wanted me to make a Ghost of Sherlock Holmes patch. She came up with the funny idea.
It's pronounced Gosh (like "golly, gosh") is Gosh (with a long O).
Try to imagine the patch being circular. Now imagine putting that patch on your backpack, or maybe a pair of stone-washed (or acid-washed) jeans. If you had a G.O.S.H. patch, you truly would be "underground."
This is probably the most highbrow I will get, so enjoy it while you can.

Weird Dream Again
I was on vacation at a family reunion. The zany part was that none of these people were my family members, and they were all pricks.
There were also pissed off animals, a zombie attack and a pretentious dude who chastised me for not knowing thrash/speed metal bands.
After that I went to a super cool version of Disneyland where instead of the electric light parade, giant, cute anime-inspired monsters battled. There was also this weird part where I started playing World of Warcraft again. I had to hide my WoW addiction by playing outside of the resort on my computer.
I think if you were to analyze this, you may find that I secretly care about what animals think of me. Or maybe animals really do hate me.

Weird Dream
Just had a dream my friend Clint, Stacie, a few of our friends and I went on a vacation to a beach town. The weird part is that the town was combined with an all-female army band camp.
The weirdest part though is we had to transport like three really pissed off cats. One peed in my car, and the other hated Clint a lot. There was also a delicious restaurant there too. I didn't get to eat there because it closed when I was walking up to it.
Wow. I think I'm ready to work on G.O.S.H. Pt. Deaux!

Tomorrow I must work on the second episode of G.O.S.H.

Thought of this hilarious cliché clip art while at dinner.
Also, I can't stop thinking about that part in The Matrix, where that guy is about to program Keanu's brain with Kung Fu, he said something like, "Morpheus wanted me to start you with some protocol programs, but that's major boring shit!"

Also, I can't stop thinking about that part in The Matrix, where that guy is about to program Keanu's brain with Kung Fu, he said something like, "Morpheus wanted me to start you with some protocol programs, but that's major boring shit!"
Bonus Blog!
I found a funny Windows XP shortcut. If you hold down the windows key on your keyboard and hit u, a robot will begin speaking to you.

The Result of 1 Million Beers
Man, I am tired.
Sorry for no funny clip arts. I'm going to take a nap before I have to host karaoke.
Great news, though. I spoke with Mike Bates (MWB) and he will respect the outcome of the MWB Poll. Things are looking good for for MySpace, but things are not looking good for Bates' voyeurism.
Also, I'll be working on G.O.S.H. Ep. 2 tomorrow. It should be done this weekend.
G'night Mate!

A Couple Obsessions I Can't Shake
Lately, I've been obsessed with two things I'm not normally obsessed with.
1) I can't stop listening to Fall Out Boy, or singing their songs at karaoke.
2) I wish I was a teenage vampire (Or Alex Winter from Lost Boys)
Maybe part of me wants to live forever, but at the same time bitch about being immortal with clever metaphors and similes.
If I were to start a bodacious vamp band, I think my first single would be, "My Life Sucks (Literally)"
Hmm...quite a dilemma I face, I'm unsure if I can handle it.
(Note: Here are a few things I'm normally obsessed with: Dance Dance Revolution, pizza, zombies, video games, blogging, boobs, curry chicken, karaoke)

A Little Bit of Inspiration
Tango & Cash is the greatest movie ever made.
There is this one part where Kurt Russell slides on the ground and punches this guy in the balls. It's pure cinematic genius!
Also, there's a mini van that's decked out with turbo boosters, and chain guns; it's pretty awesome. I also love the jokes where they compare their dicks to firearms.
If I ever feel like I can't achieve my dreams, I only need to watch this movie.
For Pete's sake, they escaped from prison by sliding on an electric wire with a belt!
Anything is possible my friends, anything!
(PS I'm now watching Commando, Let off some steam!)

Can't Sleep, Too Much Clip Art
I'm really trying to find some clip art so I can work on some Ghost of Sherlock Holmes (G.O.S.H.) comics, but I keep stumbling across some of the most amazing pictures. Oh yeah, forgot to tell you, I'm listening to a Dance Dance Revolution Music Sampler CD my niece got from a Burger King Kidz Meal.

Secret Spy Baby Movie
I want to flex my movie making skills with the $10 clip art CD. I think you all will find this movie almost as, if not more, engrossing than the Bourne Trilogy combined.

Amazing Clip Art CD (Manuel Creation '07)
I just bought 10,000 of the greatest clip art images ever created for only $10! That's 1,000 images per dollar! Most people wouldn't waste their money on budget clip art, but these people do not know how to unlock the CD's magical potential. (I do)
Below is my first "$10 Clip Art Mashup Masterpiece." I call it Manuel Creation.

Mike Bates Looks exactly like this DonRuss baseball card of Howard Johnson (HoJo).

Richard Baldwin Update
I've got an update from R.B. himself! Good news for all of you Rich-a-Holics.
It has been an exciting week in the personal and professional life of Richard Baldwin:
Richard is leading the Western Region in the “Let’s get a jump on Labor Day” Sales Contest. He is once again on track for his weekly $25 bonus and the overall prize of up to an additional $200!!!!!
He and his wife had a constructive, yet enjoyable weekend as they took several hours to clean their condo. He cleaned out their refrigerator after several months of left-over “pile up” as a result of many nights of “take out.” He then stumbled upon some old asparagus in the rear of his refrigerator which had started collecting mold, unfortunate, because it would have gone perfectly with the grilled chicken he was planning for dinner! There was also an open can of Alpo and a Tupperware dish full of plain cooked macaroni noodles.
GenericDave.com is your #1 source of all news that is Richard Baldwin.

Electronic Organ
When Stacie and I picked up the hand-carved Gordon's Fisherman, we also picked up the most dudical electronic organ ever!
Here it is!
Notice how it has many switches, pedals, and a cassette deck. Did I mention one of the pedals controls the volume? Jealous? You will be once you see...
...that it has all of the most popular beats of the future. Feel like waltzing? It's now at the touch of a turquoise button.
I'll post a video later to show how awesome it sounds. Pictures cannot describe what amazing tones can be plunked out of this. An example, if you wanted to recreate the soundtrack to Megaman II, you could use this instrument to faithfully recreate it.
You wouldn't even need a pesky computer!
